The fishpond was Penny's mum's Christmas present (she's always wanted one). We didn't expect it to be such hard work. The one at home took only a few hours to construct. This one took several days, mostly due to the sticky black soil, and the deep rooted grass. The heat didn't help either.

Still, we managed to finish it before we left, and it looks pretty good. Unfortunately I don't seem to have a photo of the end result (after we'd trimmed the liner and concreted the rocks in place).
