First day of the cruise. It was raining in Ketchikan (as it had been for most of the two days we were there), and when we arrived at the dock they were trying to dry the boat after several days of very wet weather and rough seas. A couple of hours later the rain cleared and we had good weather for most of the rest of the cruise.

We anchored late in the afternoon and went for a hike in the rainforest.
