I'm a Senior Software Engineer with VaST Systems Technology Pty Ltd (since Oct 1998), writing virtual processor models. I'm also VaST's system administrator.
Prior to VaST, I spent three years (September 1995 - September 1998) with Keycorp as a Project Leader on various EFTPOS and smartcard terminals.
Before Keycorp, I was at GEC Plessey Telecommunications, formerly GEC-Marconi Telecommunications (known simply as Marconi in the UK), from July 1986 to September 1995. I worked on GPT's/GEC's TDCC switch and associated network management system project, used in Telstra's Digital Data Network (also used by the Telephone Organistion of Thailand), and on the now-defunct CT2 cordless telephone project (Telstra Talkabout). I held various positions at GPT/GEC: Software Engineer, Software Team Leader, Project Manager, Software Engineering Manager. GPT have since been bought by Siemens.
Before GEC, I was a Weapons Electrical Engineering Officer in the Royal Australian Navy. My last ship was HMAS Vampire, now on display at the Australian National Maritime Museum at Darling Harbour in Sydney.
