13th May 2003 - Lake Kawkawa to Blind Bay

10:30am: Depart Lake Kawkawa after a leisurely breakfast overlooking the lake (from inside the house, it's a bit cold outside). First stop will be Hell's Gate, the narrowest point on the Fraser River - only 34m wide. The river carries something like one quarter of all the river water in B.C. but it's a bit early and there's not a lot of water today.

6:00pm: Arrive at A Rover's Rest B&B in Blind Bay. The room we're in has a red heart-shaped bath ...

7:15pm: Fish (cod and haddock) and chips at the Blind Bay Marina for dinner. 6/10.
